Department of Curriculum Development & Instruction Methods

Dr. Marzieh Dehghan

Organized in 1348, the department of Instruction Methods enrolls students in B.A level Educational Technology program, M.A level Educational Research and Adults Education programs.

: The objective of the department is to train experts who are capable in the following fields

        To design & produce media resources as well as implementing educational media to run classes, lectures etc.- 

 Administration of libraries and educational centers   - 

        Preparation, compilation, development and revision of educational plans  - 

        Assessment and selection of educational materials and equipment for purchase - 

        Assisting in content preparation & regulation for educational media  - 

        Participation and accompanying in educational planning - 

Educational Technology includes scientific knowledge and skills such as systematic planning method, implementing and evaluation of the whole teaching & learning process based on specific goals and conducting research in learning and human relations and applying a combination of humane and materialistic resources to create a deep and everlasting learning.

Educational Technology is a new look at educational issues which presents the best educational facilities in order to change learners' behavior by means of applying psychological principles, utilizing educational planning science, precise designing based on clear goals and by considering material and personal resources and possibilities.

The M.A program of Educational Research deals with training eligible researchers in the field of giving hypothesis, qualitative & quantitative research methods in psychology throughout the country. The students become familiar with the science & skills related to descriptive & inferential statistics, research methods in cognitive science as well as classic and modern theories in psychometrics for the purpose of Educational Research.
